Update on Development of Xposed for Nougat 2017

Is Xposed Dead For Nougat?

Android o is launched for developer in nexus/pixel devices there is no sign for xposed framework for nougat yet why does it take that long? Because with every release, developer try to ensure that xposed integrates nicely with the improvements in the new art version. The step from lollipop 5.0 to marshmallow 6.0 wasn’t huge. It was an evolution, some things even made it possible to integrate xposed in a more elegant way.

With nougat, something fundamental has changed. If you’re using nougat already, you’ll have noticed that app installation and everything else in general are much faster now.

The reason why i (Jignesh patel) personally continue to use android 6.0 marshmallow on my oneplus 3 is the presence of xposed. Ii am willing to forego the latest os update from the oem just to savor this xposed sweet fruit.

Why all This Fuss?

Though some people stopped using xposed as android has improved. Besides, now most mods are closed source or written in chinese so i have no idea what they do. It’s dumb. Literally this guy published a calculator app, alarm clock and a few other apps. I saw one chinese app that has bits of its app description in english saying it was for an iphone. That’s sketchy if a chinese person can program a root app yet not know how to call it an android app.

Xposed for Nougat

People in the android community have the right to choose what they can and can’t install on their devices. Xposed is a means of adding onto the experience and to help you realize something, the only reason some devs don’t “support” xposed. Is because it’s not their code, they aren’t to the creator not the maintainer. Rove is.

They don’t want to deal with someone else’s code for many reasons. Telling someone to not download what Devs who use xposed is just ignorant and goes to show you know very little about it. Xposed when used correctly gives you a means to make you android experience better. If it bugs you that other people have chosen to use xposed. Then suck it up and move on. People can do as they wish with their devices. People like you ruin things way too often.

So what do you think about xposed’s future?
