Ground Zero Android 9.0 Pie Rom For Moto G5s Plus Moto G5 Plus Gzosp is AOSP (including CAF) and is pure stock experience. This is used as base for many other projects.
Validus is GZOSP based with a Wolfie theme and has a lot of features.

Here you will Find Android Pie Custom Roms for Moto G5 Plus And Many other Android Phones

Once Motorola talked about their Android 9 Pie update rollout plans, it was clear that none of the Moto G5 handsets were in the plans. Even though the Moto G5 Plus is still one of the best budget Android phones right now, let alone its ranking in the best Motorola phones of last year, this does seem a little bit disappointing.

Perhaps that was not surprising either, because gone were the days when two major updates were prepared for the Moto G series sets. Given that Moto G5 handsets have already had their one major update in Android Oreo, the Android 9 was already out of question.

That doesn’t mean you can’t have Android 9 update for your Moto G5 Plus. Thanks to the strong developer community that the Moto G5 Plus enjoy — in line with most Moto G handsets — you can experience the goodness of Android Pie update via custom ROMs. Let’s see to it all below.

  • Gesture Navigation – removes the recent apps overview button and replaces the original home button with a pill that can slide up to show recent apps or slide right to quickly switch between apps
  • Revamped recent apps – the vertical, stacked card list is replaced with a horizontal card list (interestingly, the launcher is now integrated with the recent apps overview which opens up some exciting possibilities)
  • Revamped user interface – commonly called “Material Design 2,” the new Material Theme guidelines have brought a fresh coat of paint throughout the UI
  • Digital Wellbeing – a feature designed to help you use your smartphone less by tracking your usage and wind down at night to prevent distractions
  • Adaptive Battery – with App Standby Buckets, Android limits power consumption for the apps that you don’t use all that often

Rooting:
Ground Zero ROMs are not shipped rooted. Flash your favorite root apps like Magisk/SuperSU or any other. After flashing, your device may boot twice before boot animation, don’t worry it’ll be fine after that.

Theming:
Substratum support is there as long as you have root and latest Substratum app. Some themes may have a little catching up to do, have fun testing them!

Reporting Issues:
If you have any issues, grab a log after a clean flash, upload and link here please. Add steps to reproduce the issue in your post.
Do not report issues dirty flashing this over some unofficial build or with some kernel flashed.
Logcat Extreme app is great as you can choose to start recording a log just before reproducing an error and stop recording just after so you log just the part you need.

Few Notes:
Xposed is not supported here, if you want to run it and have issues, try an Xposed thread for support and bug reports here only welcome with a clean install with no Xposed present.
